Frequently Asked Questions
How can therapy help me?
Therapy provides a safe and confidential space where you can process your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgment. It can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and behaviors while providing you with tools, strategies and healthy coping skills to support you in living a more fulfilling, authentic life.
What can I expect during my first session?
We will spend your first session building trust and exploring basic information about yourself, your background, and why you're seeking therapy. We will then begin to identify your goals and what you hope to achieve through therapy and figure out best next steps for your unique treatment needs. The first session is all about setting the groundwork for your specific therapeutic journey.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are between 45-50 minutes long.
How many sessions are there?
The duration of therapy can vary depending on several factors, including your specific goals, the severity and complexity of your concerns, and your personal progress. Some issues can be addressed relatively quickly, while other challenges need more time and attention. There is no specific duration, as your treatment plan is tailored specifically to your needs and concerns.
Iām feeling a bit nervous about starting the process. Can I get more information before I fully commit?
